2008 Korean Film Festival NZ
- Auckland - Wellington -
The 2008 Korean Film Festival is being organized with due regard to the current high international recognition and reputation of Korean film. Host (Goemul) won critical acclaim at the 2006 Cannes Film Festival and Jeon Do-yeon won the prestigious best actress award at the 2008 Cannes Film Festival. This recognition is but one visible sign of the trend of Korean filmmakers producing cinematic products of increasingly international interest.
